How To Storyboard...

These are two videos I found useful on YouTube, they teach you the basics of storyboarding.

Being able to draw when storyboarding is not a necessity, stick figures are fine, the point of a storyboard is to give the cast and crew an idea of what shots are needed. It is also useful for the editor in post-production as they know in what order the shots shot go in. Storyboarding is simple but it need to be done!
In addition to storyboards these are the other main things need to be done in pre-production:
  • Script
  • Budget
  • Script Breakdown
  • Casting
  • Shot List
  • Line the Script
  • Time the Script
  • Shooting Schedule
